Biography

Mr Nnaemeka Henry Okoli joined the services of FUTO as a Graduate Assistant in 2014. He rose to the rank of Assistant Lecturer in 2017 after obtaining a Master of Science Degree in Soil Chemistry and Fertility Management from the University. He is currently undertaking a Doctorate Degree Programme in Soil Chemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). He is actively engaged in Teaching and Research and has attended some academic conferences. He has over fifteen Journal publications to his credit. He is an active member of Soil Science Society of Nigeria, International Union of Soil Science and has been admitted to the grade of Graduate of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He enjoys reading newspapers, watching TV programmes and playing table tennis.

  • Improving the concentration, bioavailability of essential elements and crop yield in degraded Ultisols using biosolids and other organic amendments.
  • Soil pollution potentials of major agrochemicals.
  • Chemistry of wetland soils and its relationship with global warming.
  • Effects of anthropogenic activities on soil quality and climate change.
