Biography

Solomon Chika Udensi joined the Department of Physics, the Department from which he graduated, after the compulsory one-year national service, as a graduate assistant in 2002. In 2007, he was awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship by the European Union, to study materials science in a consortium of three universities, namely; University of Aveiro (Portugal), Aalborg University (Denmark) and Hamburg University of Technology, TUHH (Germany). His master thesis was on graphene – Polymer composites characterization. Solomon is currently working on corrosion inhibition of materials using eco-friendly materials. His interests also include Energy, Fuel cells, Composites, Engineering Physics. He has published a few peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals and is married with children.
