Biography

Henry Azubuike is currently on study leave at Kansas State University, USA, as a doctoral student and a teaching assistant in the math department, since August 2019. He has been a graduate assistant in the department of Mathematics in FUTO since August 2017, where he also completed his M.Sc. and has taught basic mathematics courses including calculus and differential equations. Mathematics has been very fascinating for him–its global scope and local precision has remained to him the most interesting feature of the queen of all sciences. Henry is interested in the connections between algebraic geometry, homological algebra and mirror symmetry –a very active area of research in mathematics with questions arising from string theories, gauge theories and some topological quantum field theory. He is a member of the algebra/topology research group in FUTO, and also a member of the topology and mirror symmetry research groups in Kansas State University.
