Biography
Prof. A. O. I. Selemo obtained his B. Sc. in Physics in 1978 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). After his M.Sc in Exploration Geophysics from University of Ibadan (UI) in 1983, he proceeded to the University of Calabar, where he obtained his PhD in Geophysics in 1999. He has worked in Benue Polytechnic, Makurdi before joining Federal University of Technology, Owerri, as a Lecturer II in 1986. He became the Head of Department in 2006 where he served for two years. Prof. A. O. I. Selemo has done a series of programmes and training in the UK. He is a Member of Science Association of Nigeria (SAN), Nigeria Institute of Physics (NIP), Nigeria Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH) and Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS). He also served as an external examiner to; Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Delta State, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State and Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
