Prof. Kenneth Ugwu Nnadi

Professor

Biography

Prof Nnadi has conducted viability and feasibility studies for transport companies of the private sector and public-private-partnership, involving estimation of market size and formulation of pricing policies for market entry, penetration, and retention; and market share expansion. He has conducted research into Comparative Economics of the modes of transport, including pipelines, and has done extensive analysis of the zerorisation principle in road transportation of white petroleum products in Nigeria. His current research objectives are to estimate, with mathematical precision, prevailing price-, income-, and cross- elasticity in Nigeria’s waterways, airways and roads; and to establish correct magnitudes and parameters for port economic impact assessment. He has recently developed an interest in Nigeria’s compliance with International Maritime Organisation, IMO, conventions relating to deep-sea shipping.
