Mrs Nwoko was born in Abia State, South-East Nigeria. She was educated at the University of Calabar, Calabar, South-South Nigeria where she obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 2001. She later proceeded to Federal University of Technology, Owerri for her Master degree in Financial Management Technology in 2010.  Mrs Nwoko is at the final stages of her Doctoral degree in Finance at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike  Abia. She has presented scholarly papers in national and international conferences. She has published a number of articles in reputable journals. Her research interest is on public finance with an emphasis on real sector economics. She is happily married with four boys.
