Candidates applying for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optometry programme with options in Clinical Optometry, Vision Science and Ocular Health must possess the following in addition to O’level Credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
- A Master of Science (M.Sc) degree from any recognized University within or outside Nigeria with a CGPA of 3.50 and above on a 5.00 scale or 2.80 and above on a 4.00 scale for options in Clinical Optometry, Vision Science, and Ocular Health respectively.
- Completion of a one-year internship programme and NYSC programme.
