Biography

Engr. Dr Onyebuchi Chikezie Nosiri obtained his PhD, M.Eng and B.Eng Degrees from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria in 2015, 2009 and 2002 respectively, majored in Communication Engineering. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He has successfully to his credit, published over 45 journal papers. He has supervised five (5) graduate students (Master) as the main Supervisor and one PhD student as an Associate Supervisor. His interest areas of research include developing intelligent noise and interference mitigation techniques for wireless and Cognitive Radio Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, enhanced call admission control measures for mobility networks and criminal community detection in mobile phone networks and Millimetre-wave technology for 5G networks. He is a registered member of the professional engineering bodies such as Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), and Council for the Regulation of Engineering (COREN). He is passionate in his adopted student-centred learning technique which has greatly improved the student’s rate of assimilation.
