2002 – Date

Lecturer – Teaching courses such as  engineering control system analysis and design, network theory, the theory of electronic instrumentation and measurement, introduction to electrical/electronic engineering, process control technology, advanced electronics, principles of radar and navigation systems

Project/Seminar coordinator

Supervised final projects such as design and construction of capacitance meter, implementation of audio amplifier, design and implementation of wireless bugging devices etc

2001- 2002

Contract Instrument Engineer – Experiences Include: Maintenance and Calibration of Electrical Instruments, Electromechanical Transducers and Controllers e.g. Transmitters, Temperature and Pressure Sensors, Gauges, Recorders, Flocometers, Rotron-meters, Pulse transmitters, Liquid level Controller, Relief Valves, Control Valves, Altronic III etc.

2000 – 2001

E & I Quality Control Engineer – Experiences obtained include an inspection on electrical and instrumentations installations – AGG liquified natural gas project at Obigbo, River State.  Inspection of excavation of trenches for power and instrument cable laying, calibration of instruments, instruments fittings, cable testing, cable glanding and termination, an inspection of earthing preparation and testing.

1997 – 1999

Workshop Supervisor – The project involved bio-remediation of sludge (hydrocarbon waste from crude exploitation) deposited in burrow pit for close to 3 decades. The job embraces the maintenance and servicing of heavy-duty equipment e.g. Marsh-Buggy, Electrical generator, Heavy-duty air compressors.  Also included is the installation of mobile radios etc.

1995 – 1996

Trainee Electrical Engineer – Experiences include rural electrification projects (World Bank Assisted Projects in Minna and Maiduguri).  The work includes Design and Installation of HT and LV poles, installation and transformer and other substation components e.g. Feeder pillar, Thunder/Lightning Arrestors, Earthing preparation and testing.  The project also involved the drilling of Boreholes and construction of water treatment plants.
