Obasi, Akanele Chori was born in Aba, Abia State into the family of Mr Chori and Mrs Patience Obasi. She is the fifth child and the last daughter of her parents. She underwent her primary education at Ogbor-Hill Primary School Aba, from 1995-2001. Then for her secondary education, she attended Girls’ Technical College from 2002-2008. Thereafter, she obtained her Bachelor of Agriculture (Agricultural Economics) at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike from 2011-2016. She did her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Keffi, Nasarawa State from 2017-2018. She was trained in Customer Relation and Management by The Institute of Manpower Development and Management (IMpDM) Citi Centa Plaza Karu-site Abuja (2017) and she was inducted in the institute as a Fellow. She got married to Osasumwen Duncan Iyiewuare on the 29^th of September 2018 and they are blessed with a baby girl. She is honest, tactful, hardworking, teachable and diligent with a positive attitude towards the affairs of life. She loves researching, listening to music, reading good books, Teaching, Farming activities acquiring new skills and making new friends. She is a Christain. She is currently working as a Graduate Assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics, in the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, Federal University Of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Imo State.
