Dr (Mrs.) Emilia C. Nwokenkwo

Biography

Dr. (Mrs.) Emilia Nwokenkwo is the Deputy Director, Academic Planning and Development Unit. She hails from Umuezeala- Owerri in Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State. She holds a Doctorate degree in Food Processing Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri.

She started her career in FUTO in February 2001 as a Senior Academic Planning Officer and rose through the cadre to the present rank of Deputy Director, Academic planning.

She has served diligently in several or organizations. Dr. (Mrs.) Emilia Nwokenkwo is a devout Catholic, married and blessed with three (3) children.

She loves singing, reading and farming.

Academic Qualification

PhD, M.Sc., MBA, B.Sc. (Food Science and Technology)

Membership of Professional Bodies: 

  • Member, Women in Management (WIM),
  • Member, Nigeria Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST).

Work Experience: 

  • ADAMAC INDUSTRIES LTD TRANS-AMADI LAYOUT, PORT-HARCOURT (1997-2000)
  • NIGERIAN BOTTLING COMPANY, OWERRI PLANT.
  • FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY OWERRI (2001- to date)

Research Interest: Seed oils, Characterization and their Products.
