The UCC is saddled with the responsibility of conducting regular cutting-edge information technology (IT) training & workshops for staff and students of the University. Other major operations of the Centre include provision of computing utilities as well as hardware and software services for the University community. Maintenance and servicing of computer machines are carried out by the Centre Engineers and Technologists. Software maintenance and procedures are performed by system Analysts. Research and development expertise and training services/workshop including other commercial services like data processing and analysis are provided by the Centre. The Centre also provides hands-on practical support for the departments on information and communication technology related courses. The Centre is also used to conduct computer-based Tests/Exams (CBT) for students.
