Biography

Mr Nzube Thaddeus EGBOKA was born to the family of Mr Donatus (Late) and Mrs Esther Egboka of Osina in Ideato North Local Government Area, Imo State, Nigeria. He obtained his primary and secondary educations in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Mr Nzube holds a Bachelors degree (B.Agric. Tech.) in Soil Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, where he emerged the Departmental “Best Graduating Student” (2013 graduating set). He earned his Masters degree (M.Sc.) from the Nigerian premier University (The University of Ibadan, Nigeria), graduating with a PhD grade in the Department of Agronomy, where he specialized in Soil Microbiology option of the Soil Science unit.

Mr N.T Egboka joined the services of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) in February 2019 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Soil Science and Technology. He is one of the pioneers Registered Soil Scientists (RSS) of the Nigerian Institute of Soil Science (NISS); an active member of both the Soil Science Society of Nigeria (SSSN) and the International Union of Soil Science (IUSS). He is passionately engaged in teaching and research and enjoys playing Table Tennis and Football games at leisure.
