A Brief Citation

Dr Kelechi Enyinna Ugwu, is a lecturer in the Department of Management Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He has nine years of teaching experience in the area of Management. He holds a doctorate degree (PhD) in Business Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, November 2018. He studied at Jonkoping International Business School, Jonkoping University, Sweden and obtained both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Business Admistrationin 2008 and 2010. He has a certificate in Humanitarian Logistics, a combined program organized by; Jonkoping University Sweden, Haken School of Economics, Finland, and BI Norwegian School of Management, 2009. The scholar holds another bachelor degree in Industrial Chemistry at the Enugu State University of Science of Technology (ESUT), 2002.

He has international experience and has worked with Swedish Logistics firms (Proffice AB and Bring Logistics). He is a creative writer and has presented several academic papers on a wide range of topics such as; globalization and economic growth on invitation from International Academic Forum (IAFOR), Thistle Brighton, the United Kingdom in May 2014. He has presented papers in areas such as; Talent Management, Change Management, Intellectual Capital Management among others. His academic interests are streamlined in the area of; human resource management and supply chain management.

He has authored more than twenty-three scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals in management. He has authored a book titled “Mergers and Acquisitions”. His interest in academics cannot be overemphasized and has distinguished himself through a series of research and publication.  He is co-editor of International Journal of Family Business and Management (in USA). He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Policy Management Development (FIPMD). Currently serving as examination officer (2017 till date), Departmental representative on University Website and Updates (2019 till date), served as a class adviser (2011 to 2016). He possesses good interpersonal, presentation, leadership, organizing and supervisory skills.

Dr Kelechi has technical skills and is knowledgeable with the use of Statistical Package on Social Science (SPSS) in data tabulation, coding and running of analysis (e.g. regression, Correlation, Analysis of Variance etc).  Finally, the scholar has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research work in the area of management.
