He was born on the 2nd of March, he hails from Obohia, Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo state. He is married with five children. Currently a Professor in the Department of Financial Management.

  • He was selected for the Distinguished awards of Professional Fellowship of the Institute (PFIFM) and Certified Distinguished Financial Management Educator Award (CDFME) of the Institute of Financial Management  Limited, Federal Republic of Nigeria, in 1997.
  • He was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Duru-Nmuta –Na-Amamihe-Di-Ire I (Lord of Effective Education and Wisdom) by His Royal Highness Eze B.O. Ihejirika KSM, and the Ikwuano Autonomous Community, the Imo State of Nigeria on December 12, 1996, for outstanding contributions to education, philanthropy, community development and leadership.
  • He was awarded the Research Fellowship (FIABBS) of the International Academy of Business and Behavioral Sciences (IABBS), Connecticut, United Staes of America in August 2017.
