Dr. (Mrs.) Bernadette Ubbaonu is the Principal Assistant Registrar, Academic Planning and Development Unit.

She is a native of Umuchima, Ideato South L.G.A. of Imo State.

She holds the following educational qualifications:

1. University of Nigeria, Nsukka – B.Sc. (Ed)
2. Abia State University, Uturu – M.Sc. and PhD

Her areas of specialization are Home Economics, Educational Administration & Planning and Educational Management and Planning.

Dr. (Mrs.) Ubbaonu is a member of the National Association of Educational Planners (NAEP), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and member of the Association of Nigerian Universities Professional Administrators (ANUPA). A fellow of Women in Management and Leadership Association of Nigeria (WIMA).

She has attended many national and international workshops/conferences. She is currently the National Treasurer of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN).

Dr. (Mrs.) Ubbaonu is an uncompromised/committed Catholic and happily married to Prof. C. N. Ubbaonu and the marriage is blessed with three children.
